“Ceramic Futures”, a free online course addressed to Italian ceramists

Ceramic Futures – Business e tecnologie per le imprese ceramiche (Business and technologies for ceramic companies) is a free course addressed to Italian ceramists that aim to boost or start their businesses. The course includes 11 free webinars (they will be conducted in Italian) delivered through Zoom.

Meetings will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from the 14th of May to the 20th of June (except Thursday the 30th of May).

Follow the streaming by registering in the Zoom form (https://forms.gle/FUVuftkqzsaaPGh96).

The course is for:

  • artistic and traditional handicraft enterprises, in particular ceramists;
  • artisan start-ups (enterprises between 0 and 5 years old);
  • designers, digital creatives, and architects interested in the ceramics sector;
  • students and young people interested in the creative sector.

The webinars will be held by experts from various fields, who will try to make the meetings interactive through special Q&A sessions. The course will touch on various points: the importance of technology and innovation applied to traditional craftsmanship, but also the growing value of sustainability and a special focus on management and capacity building for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

Ceramic Futures is an action of the Horizon Europe Tracks4Crafts project, funded by the European Union and led by the University of Antwerp, with a partnership of 15 organizations from all over Europe.
