Sustainability Pills

“Sustainability Pills” was born as a return of the Erasmus+ SME Green Skill HUB project, co-funded by the European Union, in which the Foundation for Research and Innovation of UniFi is a partner. The Foundation involved Artex in specific training on sustainability in business, so that it could raise awareness among artisan companies on the topics of circular economy and sustainability. The “Sustainability Pills” project is supported by the World Crafts Council Europe, through the Crafting the Future project funded by the European Union.

Dialogues on Craftsmanship

Dialogues on Craftsmanship is a series created by Artex in 2021, with the aim of spreading knowledge about the heritage of Tuscan craft trades, through the testimonies of Master Craftsmen recognized by the Chamber of Commerce. The dialogues take place from time to time between a master craftsman and an expert in the field, a cultural representative, or a figure from the relevant landscape. The dialogues are broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube through Artex’s channels.

Crafting Business in Italy

The first online course of the Crafting Europe project (co-funded by Creative Europe) for the promotion and support of artistic and traditional craft businesses. Nine events to strengthen and spread knowledge to support business development. Digital seminars conducted by experts from different fields. The topics covered range from the development of artisanal products to communication in the COVID-19 era, from design to the gallery system for crafts, from facilitated finance to the internationalization of markets, from marketing to digital B to B.

Crafting Business in Italy (2022)

Second Edition of Crafting Business aimed at companies active in the artistic and traditional craft sector throughout Italy. Eight videos dedicated to artisans, start-ups in the craft sector, those intending to start a craft business, and makers and designers active in the field. The program aims to strengthen and spread knowledge to support the business development of new artisans. Thanks to a series of digital seminars conducted by experts from various sectors, the topics covered range from the concept of authenticity of the craft brand to email marketing, from sustainability pills for a greener sector in line with European SDGs to an introduction to business models and strategies for doing business in the craft world, from online storytelling to the use and presentation of the company image through social networks, to the growth opportunities offered by government tenders and facilitated finance, as well as crowdfunding for business projects.
