“Ceramic Futures”, a free online course addressed to Italian ceramists

Ceramic Futures – Business e tecnologie per le imprese ceramiche (Business and technologies for ceramic companies) is a free course addressed to Italian ceramists that aim to boost or start their businesses. The course includes 11 free webinars (they will be conducted in Italian) delivered through Zoom.

Meetings took place every Tuesday and Thursday from the 14th of May to the 20th of June (except Thursday the 30th of May).

You can see the recordings at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVIqriTcPXwKUCtcPBeJIXZ5crJz3Zfb2. The webinars were held in Italian, however on YouTube you can watch videos with subtitles.

The course is for:

  • artistic and traditional handicraft enterprises, in particular ceramists;
  • artisan start-ups (enterprises between 0 and 5 years old);
  • designers, digital creatives, and architects interested in the ceramics sector;
  • students and young people interested in the creative sector.

The webinars was held by experts from various fields, who made the meetings interactive through special Q&A sessions. The course touched on various points: the importance of technology and innovation applied to traditional craftsmanship, but also the growing value of sustainability and a special focus on management and capacity building for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
