Final conference of the Crafts Code project – 27 April at 9 am at MIDA

Artex, on behalf of the Municipality of Florence, as part of the European Crafts Code project, organizes the final conference of the project within the International Handicraft Exhibition, on 27 April at 9 am, in the Sala della Scherma, Fortezza da Basso, Florence.

During the morning, after the institutional greetings of the authorities in the presence of Lorenzo Becattini, President of Firenze Fiera, Giovanni Bettarini – Municipality of Florence, Councilor for the budget, subsidiaries, trade, production activities, fairs and congresses, relations with the Municipal Council and with the Tuscany Region, and Valerio Cantafio Casamaggi – Municipality of Florence, Director of Economic Activities and Tourism, interventions on the project will alternate with considerations and outcomes, a round table with national and international personalities, moderated by Chiara Dino of the Corriere Fiorentino, and presentations by craft projects.

The round table will include: Stefano Micelli – Ca’ Foscari University – Economist, Giovanni Lamioni – President of Artex, Center for Artistic and Traditional Craftsmanship of Tuscany, Marco Pierini – Pro-Rector of the University of Florence with responsibility for technology transfer, to cultural activities and social impact, Carlo Francini – Head of the World Heritage Site of Florence and of Relations with Unesco – Municipality of Florence, Jennifer Celani (TBC) – Head of the Demoethno-anthropological Functional Area – Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Florence and for the provinces of Pistoia and Prato, Alessandro Colombo – President of SCHOLA.
