The Annual Conference of the European Craft Alliance (ECA) will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. The event will take place at Litteraturhuset, Oslo. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 and open to everyone and it is possible to attend 𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞. In both cases, 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝.

This annual conference, 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲, will explore how the craft sector fuels innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth across the EU.

This meeting, co-hosted by European Craft Alliance and Norwegian Crafts, will explore the real economic challenges and opportunities for craftspeople, practical strategies for collaboration from the Nordic Network, new perspectives on the social & cultural value of craft, and how craftspeople are mixing technology with traditional skills to create innovative and economically viable work.
