M.A.D.E. Project – Museums, Artshops, Design, Sustainability – www.museisostenibili.it – was created through the collaboration of the Galileo Museum in Florence, Artex – Centre for Artistic and Traditional Craftsmanship of Tuscany, the Florence Academy of Fine Arts, ISIA Florence, and the University of Florence.

The main goal of the platform is to provide practical tools for integrating environmental sustainability into the management of cultural institutions’ bookshops, and to promote a green transition across the entire supply chain. M.A.D.E. aims to become a key point of reference in supporting all stakeholders in adopting more responsible practices and in strengthening the role of culture in the ecological transition.

Moreover, it offers a space for connection among institutions, designers, artisans, and businesses, facilitating the meeting of supply and demand. It is an opportunity to expand professional networks and foster new collaborations.
