The exhibition of Argillà – Italia will take place in Faenza on 1st and 2nd September 2012, all along the streets of the town centre with 180 exhibitors coming from the ceramics towns in Italy, France, Austria and other European countries.
An “intense weekend” in Faenza, one of the capital cities of majolica in the word, to discover the world of ceramics and of potters, through events, exhibitions and cultural activities.

The main themes of the 8th edition of SCENARIOS OF INNOVATION will be presented on Monday 28th November.
The general themes will be inspired by a need to rediscover a nature-based vision of life in the urban home.
In this context 13 companies from small and medium Italian / Tuscan businesses are presenting to Italian and overseas universities their production plans, corporate philosophies and the designs which, during this initiative, they intend to develop to create products or collections.

TextilArte’s third edition will take place at Hub Madrid. The agreement between the Tuscany Region Administration and the Government of the Prefecture of Kyoto was renewed last 17th October in Florence, at Palazzo Sacrati Strozzi, seat of the Tuscany Region Administration, with the objective of facilitating exchanges and collaboration among the small and medium businesses in the sectors of common interest such as agriculture, forestry, fishery, tourism, traditional handicrafts and food productions.
On the same occasion the Prefecture of Kyoto, represented by the Governor Keiji Yamada, signed the International Charter of Artistic Handicrafts, thus joining the list of Italian and foreign signatory regions.

The promotional events indicated by the project “Accenti d'Italia” are scheduled for the month of November, on the occasion of which the products of the businesses involved in the project will be promoted inside the US shops that joined the initiative. Through such action, 47 Italian businesses have the possibility of starting direct trade contacts with the specialised US distribution.

After the success obtained with the 2010 edition held at the Emirates Palace of Abu Dhabi, ICE [Foreign Trade Institute] with the collaboration of CNA and Confartigianato Imprese and with the Artistic Direction of Artex, will have the event “Italian Luxury Interiors” in the prestigious Ballroom of Hotel Madinat Jumeirah: a setup with a strong impact capable of evoking the spirit and the atmosphere of Made in Italy and of the Italian Lifestyle, at the discovery of the “Italian living”. The purpose of the project is to put into contact a selected group of handicraft businesses with interior designers, architects and operators of the sector, in the Arab Emirates.

At the fourth edition of the event-exihibition La Casa Del III Millennio, the CNA (Small Business and Craftsmen Association) in Prato, in collaboration with the CNA in Arezzo, proposes to explore the pleasure of living, understood as a response to changing needs of contemporary society increasingly attentive to the value of the object and its ethics.
The competition aims at identifying and producing, care of Prato CNA affiliated companies, objects and/or systems that are really innovative for their sustainable and livable design. The winning projects will be displayed in the exhibition La casa del III Millennio that will take place in December 2011.
